Brian and I lugged down our tripod to the corner of Devereaux St. and Torresdale Ave. I was playing with the bracketed exposure settings on my camera to see if that would make it easier to work on High Dynamic Range imagery. A few of them came out pretty well.

Snowverkill 2010

More snow. Today we got about 8-10 inches by morning and then a brief break to shovel the sidewalks and clean off the cars followed by another 10 inches or so. It is still blowing around like crazy and visibility is essentially nonexistent.

May I come in now?

Aiko waiting to come back inside after being coaxed out to relieve herself before the second wave of blizzard conditions roll in later. “Total snow accumulations are expected to range from 12 to 22 inches into early tonight… with the highest amounts straddling the Interstate 95 corridor.” (Note that we can see Interstate 95 from the front porch.)
