That pretty much sums up the McCain campaign so far. They don’t have anything useful to say about their candidate so they spend all their time and money talking about Barack Obama right down to buyingGoogle ads to try to interject themselves into conversations on blogs.

You may have heard of the organization, Billionaires for Bush, and seen some of their oh so stylish rallies and events, but in this case, the anti-Obama ad is funded by a real Billionaire for Bush - Dallas billionaire Harrold Simmons, who made his first fortune in chain pharmacies and is now listed as the 73rd richest person in the world, with a net worth estimated by Forbes at $2.1 billion.

John McCain
On the defensive over the extent of multiple McCain homes, the GOP candidate strikes back. But his TV spot gives an oversimplified and misleading account of how Obama bought his own $1.6 million house in Chicago.

If conservative Republicans are a group that John McCain wants to court and cement their support, should he be campaigning with someone who ran for Vice President of the United States sharing a ticket and platform with Al Gore?

John McCain thinks George W. Bush did the right thing in invading Iraq and lifting the executive order on offshore drilling put in place by Bush’s clearly smarter father. As a result, when I’m not surprised the GOP’s favorite “Maverick” is willing to buck common sense on the issue of spamming. And his generous nature has kicked in and made it possible to open up spamming to all his supporters.

The twin brands of “George W. Bush” and “Republican party” have been so devalued over the last 7 years that there is no real incentive for the RNC and other party bodies from throwing bull manure in every direction and hoping some sticks.

Senator McCain has voted repeatedly against giving our law enforcement officers the resources they need to protect our communities. Senator McCain voted against funding for the successful COPS program and against interoperable communications equipment for first responders.
