Foreclosure – Its not just for homeowners anymore

While the news media has done a relatively decent job of keeping the ever increasing number of home foreclosures in the news, but there has not been as much coverage of foreclosures in the commercial real estate markets. Many people who decided that they preferred to rent rather than jump into the volatile US housing market are now paying the price for choices made by their landlords. Las Vegas is the number one city for foreclosures. In 2008 alone, 48,303 notices of default were filed, with almost one third (15,360) of those being rental properties.
