This is quite the post.  You almost could have started a blog on stamps with all the information in it.  There are a lot of good ones there.  I wonder why the Alaska one does not include a photo of you know who?

The consensus here in Oregon is that the artwork on our stamp is not very good, or at least not very well liked by most of the citizenry. 

I like the kelp forest.  Because we homeschooled until this fall, we are on the mailing list for all the new posters.  I hope the kelp forest is one.
