Where its individual people whose life depends on using the little water that is there halfway around the world, it gets ignored. This story needs to be widely circulated to embarass Coke into shutting its Indian operations down. They're not gonna run away because India has cheap labour that's too good to pass up, not because they want to "work with farming communities and industries to reduce the amount of water used” or whatever philanthropic spin they want to put on it. I believe that if Coke gets enough bad publicity on this that they just might "walk away". I wonder why they did not do the research to anticipate this problem before they built the facility?
