I was a cub scout and a boy scout. My mom was a cub scout den mother and my two older brothers did Webelos and I never was told about or made the Kipling connection. I just plucked Kipling out of thin air because it contained a child raised in a "non-traditional parental schema". :) Wow. I was a cub scout and a boy scout.
