Every night when I get home form wokr I go around to the back of the house to see how the daffodil bulbs are doing. They have had buds that look almost ready to bloom for a week. Every day a little more yellow shows through the thin green membrane that envelopes the petals.
I’m getting impatient. The people down at the end of the block have the same flowers and theirs are already in bloom. Since they are at the end of the block their flowerbeds get a lot more direct sunlight than ours do. I can’t wait to see them.
